What stays on your device

To let you pick up where you left off, Banooza Rush saves things such as the players you create, their names or nicknames, the Spryte and house you design, scores, completed activities and settings. This information lives in the app’s own storage on your device. It is not sent to AudCath Studios or to anyone else, and we cannot see it.

Deleting the app deletes this information.

Microphone and speech recognition

Read-aloud activities can listen to you read, so the game can follow along. The app asks for microphone and speech-recognition permission the first time you choose one of these activities, and it listens only while the activity is running. Every other part of the game works without this permission.

Recognition runs on your device whenever your device supports it. If it does not, Apple’s speech-recognition service may process the audio under Apple’s privacy policy. Either way, AudCath Studios does not receive, record or store your audio or what you said.

You can change the permission at any time in Settings, under Banooza Rush.

What we collect

Nothing. Specifically, this version of Banooza Rush:

• does not ask you to create an account or give an email address;
• does not collect your name, location, contacts, photos or device identifiers;
• does not include advertising or tracking software, and does not track you across other apps or websites;
• does not use third-party analytics services;
• does not send your progress, scores or activity to us.

If we ever add an optional feature that sends information from the app, such as backup of progress, we will say so here first and ask a parent or guardian to turn it on. It will not be switched on by default.

Children

Banooza Rush is made for players of all ages, including children. Because the app collects no personal information, there is nothing about a child for us to store, share or sell, and there is no chat or way for players to contact each other. Parents and guardians can read this policy and contact us with any question.

Your choices

• Remove everything the app has saved by deleting the app.
• Turn the microphone or speech recognition off in Settings.
• Ask us a question about privacy at any time, using the address below.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the app handles information, we will update this page and its effective date before the change reaches the app.
