Local AI.

The native app runs its model on your supported Apple device.

Offline access.

Installed knowledge and models remain available without internet.

Private by design.

The native AI workflow does not send your question or message to a cloud model.

No cloud AI bill.

Local inference needs no cloud API credits or per-answer server processing fees.

The native app bundles its reference and AI models. Opening an external source website or downloading an update requires a connection. App pricing and availability are separate from cloud processing costs.

For healthcare professionals. Content is in development and pending human review; check the source and apply clinical judgment.

A LITTLE MORE TO KNOW

Good questions.

Who is OpenMedico for?

Healthcare professionals who want a focused clinical reference. Browse a topic, inspect its recommendations and sources, or ask a question against the local reference.

What is stored on the device?

The native app bundles clinical topics, recommendation data, a retrieval index, and its AI models. Reading and native answer generation run locally on supported hardware.

Can I follow a source?

Yes. Recommendations show their supporting references, with strength and evidence certainty where supplied by the content. An external source website or article download needs an internet connection.

Is the content clinically reviewed?

The current corpus is in development and marked as draft pending human review. A cited answer is not a guarantee of accuracy or applicability. Check the underlying evidence and apply your professional judgment.

Are there ongoing cloud AI fees?

Native retrieval and answer generation do not use a cloud model or require cloud API credits. This describes processing costs, not the app price; contact us for current pricing and availability.

Does the browser run the AI itself?

The web interface connects to a locally hosted OpenMedico service. Its model runs on that host, rather than entirely in the browser. The native iPhone, iPad, and Mac apps use their on-device workflow.

Which devices can run it?

The local models require compatible Apple hardware and sufficient memory and storage. Contact [email protected] for current supported devices and availability before installing.
